Christmas is usually the most beautiful time of the year. People are usually cheerful and excited about the possibility of receiving great gifts and beautiful Christmas cards from their family and friends. Other beautiful aspects of Christmas are the lighting, the carols, or the displays. For this year 2020, First Lady Melania Trump put up a beautiful display that she has already unveiled at the White House for the people’s delight.
This year, Christmas Decorations are overflowing the White House with a festive mood starting from the Grand Foyer to the Blue Room, the Red Room, the Green Room, the Library, the China Room, the Vermeil Room, the East Colonnade, the Gardens, and the Hallways.
For this beautiful display, there were more than 62 Christmas Trees, 1,200 feet of garland, 3,200 strands of light, and 17,000 bows. More than 125 volunteers from around the country participated in the preparation of the decorations.
The theme for the White House Christmas Decorations for the Year 2020 Is:
“America The Beautiful”.

The Blue Room

The official White House Christmas Tree is usually found in the Blue Room. This year, it is an 18-feet tall Fraser fir that came from Shepherdstown, West Virginia.
The Red Room

This year, the Red Room pays homage to America’s first responders and frontline workers with ornaments that highlight the many professionals and volunteers that serve their communities.
The Green Room

This year, the Green Room is a display of American wildlife with birds, butterflies, and many other animal ornaments.
The East Room

This year, the East Room is filled with planes, trains, and automobiles to pay tribute to the American history of technology and innovation.
The East Colonnade

The East Colonnade is designed to bring the outdoors inside with foliage representing the official tree of each state and territory.
This year also included a gingerbread replica of the White House with depictions of the Rose Garden and the First Lady’s garden. They are unbelievable with the intricate details that were used for a delicious feast.
